Hi, my name is Jeff Getman and I am one of the school counselors at Primrose Elementary School. I am New York State certified and have been at Primrose since 2023.  Prior to coming to Primrose, I worked as a counselor and administrator at Somers Middle School. I enjoy supporting our youngest students as they develop the social and emotional skills needed to find success both in and out of school. I support students during whole class instruction, small groups, and individually.

Hi, my name is Julie Turchioe and I am one of the school counselors at Primrose Elementary School. I am a New York State certified school counselor and this is my first year at Primrose. Prior to this, I worked as a school counselor in New York and Minnesota with children of all ages. My role is to support the whole child by giving students the tools to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. I enjoy helping early elementary students build these foundational skills to promote their success and well-being. I work with students during classroom lessons as well as individually or in small groups as needed. I am excited to join the Primrose community and am looking forward to working with you and your child this year.
